Extra Practices

Send requests for extra-practice sessions by email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and your request will be placed on a waiting list. You will be contacted when you can schedule additional session for any open dates/times.

Extra-practice Fees:

June 17 - 28 $50
June 29 - July 5 $75
July 6 - 10 $100

Practice Site

The practice sessions this year will again be held at the boat slips directly to the east of the Chancery Restaurant.

Parking - Team members may utilize street parking along Gaslight Drive or one of the City Parking Ramps: Gaslight Ramp, Lake Avenue Ramp and Shoop Ramp (Ramps are $1.50).  Please do not park in the One Main Place/M&I parking lot or the Case parking lot.

Additional Instructions

It is highly recommended that you make every effort to have your entire team at practice. We realize that not everyone is able to make it, but it is more effective when there is a full boat running on the water.

If any of your individual team members would like to have additional practice time, suggest that they go down to the practice site and paddle with a team which is practicing without a full crew.  While we can't guarantee they will get on, many teams have spots open during practice sessions and would welcome the help.  They will probably be asked to sign another waiver even if they have signed one already.  Encourage your team members to check the practice schedule to find out when teams are practicing each day.
